Sandra Petroshius has lived in Lake Forest since 2016. She graduated from Marquette University in English and Secondary Education. After teaching at Lane Technical HS in Chicago, she worked in educational publishing, becoming Executive Editor at Pearson/Scott Foresman and Harcourt. Her community roles include Board positions with Youth and Family Counseling, Libertyville, and the Carnegie Preservation Project, Waukegan. Currently, she enjoys being a Reading Power tutor and Lake Forest Open Lands volunteer. In 2016, she founded, and continues to lead, the Poetry Group at Lake Forest Library. She is excited to be part of the Caucus team.
