Founded in 1935, the Lake Forest Caucus is a volunteer organization that identifies qualified Lake Forest residents to serve as volunteers on City of Lake Forest boards and commissions. For more than 90 years, the Caucus attracted qualified and willing candidates to such positions to help keep Lake Forest the special place it is.
ABOUT US

THE PROCESS
The Caucus meets bi-weekly to review and nominate qualified candidates for public positions in Lake Forest. Those include city council, school, and city planning board members just to name a few. We use a systematic process of doing a complete review of candidates to ensure they are the best candidates to represent the community.
